For the first time in four years, the SemperOpernball will take place in Dresden in February 2024. In October it was announced that actress Stephanie Stumph (39) and “Game of Thrones” star Tom Wlaschiha (50) would host the evening’s program together on February 23rd. Now another moderator has been announced.
Star presenter Wolfang Lippert (71) will lead the SemperOpenairball program on the outdoor stage on Theaterplatz. The procession of guests along the red carpet begins at 6 p.m. before they take their seats inside the large hall of the Dresden Opera.
According to the announcement, the ball’s comeback is a “refurbished ball”. According to the press release, the ball program begins at 8:15 p.m. Beforehand you can dance in the Fledermaus Bar and the Hall of Mirrors. From 10 p.m. you can also dance in the large hall.
It is already known that Giovanni Zarrella (45) will give the traditional midnight concert together with his band. The opera singer Rolando Villazón (51) will also perform in February. A total of around 2,500 guests are expected at the Dresden Opera. Tickets for the major event are already available on the website.
