Bill and Tom Kaulitz won the music show “The Voice of Germany” with their talent Malou Lovis Kreyelkamp. The 24-year-old from Wettringen near Münster received 29 percent of the audience votes in the live final. The Cologne-based musician (trademark: purple cotton hat) particularly impressed the coaches with her own single “Glacier Rivers”.
The emotional ballad is about her coming out and love for a woman. “I’ve never seen you shine so brightly,” praised rapper Shirin David. Kreyelkamp’s recognizable voice also harmonized perfectly in a duet with British singer James Blunt.
The other places made it to a fairly even final from Berlin were: Desirey Sarpong Agyemang (20, Duisburg) from Team Giovanni Zarrella (20 percent), Egon Herrnleben (39, Bamberg) coached by Ronan Keating with 19 percent, and Joy Esquivias (26, Mannheim) from Team Shirin David (18 percent) and Emely Myles (33), who lives in Switzerland, from Keating’s team (14 percent).
Bill Kaulitz wants to tattoo Giovanni Zarrella
For the Kaulitz twins, who christened themselves “Team Toll” over the course of the season, it is a double triumph: In addition to the victory, Bill gets to give his coach colleague Zarrella a tattoo. Because the German-Italian declared in one of the first broadcasts to Kaulitz: “If you win, you can tattoo me.”
The 13th season of the ProSieben/Sat.1 show impressed with five new coaches and some new rules. The winner will now get a record deal and a new car. Her coaches have also invited her to the 2025 Tokyo Hotel Tour as a guest singer.
