Greece prepares for the return of the holidaymakers. After tavernas and Cafés were allowed to resume operation, will now also open airports, and museums.
Athens (dpa) – After nearly three months, Corona-forced break and due to restart in the travel industry, the Greek Ministry of culture has opened all museums in the country. “It is the best way to start the week,” said head of the government, Kyriakos Mitsotakis during a visit to the Agora, the ancient market of Athens below the Acropolis, such as the state television (ERT) reported.
by the end of may, the Greek archaeological sites had been re-opened. Depending on the area of the museums, there is a maximum number of visitors which may simultaneously be in the buildings.
On Monday (15. June) were opened, two of the most important airports in the country, in Athens and Thessaloniki, flights from a number of countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 1. July should also open all of the regional airports of Greece for international flights. The inländiche air traffic is taking place on a regular basis.
