Seefeld – At his table, a picture and the flowers were, many local councils were published in covered clothes: The Seefeld Council meeting on Tuesday in the parish hall Peter and Paul began in commemoration of the last week deceased Green Council Dr. Robert Benoist. “We are deeply shaken and shocked,” said Seefeld’s mayor Klaus Kögel. The municipality had lost with Benoist, a very committed Democrats. “Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family.”
In connection Green voice had Council Thomas Zimmermann, Benoist about his candidacy as a mayor candidate for the Greens, intense met. “I can’t believe it really,” said Zimmermann. In the meetings he was very often with him together. But privately he was understood with Benoist well. “Our last conversations were very good, I enjoyed it very much.”
Benoist (50) was at 27. May with a glider accident. Rescue workers found the machine on Friday at the Weißeck in Austria. The reason for the cause of the crash is still unclear.
