With an energy performance, the Adler turned a 0:3 against the Kölner Haie into a 4:3 (0:0, 1:3, 3:0) and lead in the best-of-seven series, in which to advance four Victories are necessary, now with 3:2 after successes.
Munich achieved their third win in a row with a 4-0 (1-0, 3-0, 0-0) win over the Fischtown Pinguins from Bremerhaven after two defeats. Both teams can now complete the semi-finals on Sunday. This also applies to the Straubing Tigers, who won 5-0 (0-0, 3-0, 2-0) against the Grizzlys Wolfsburg.
