FC Nordsjællands fodboldtalenter may hatch in Hillerød in the future.
the Danish superliga club, based in Farum, will build a new football academy for boys and girls. The ambition is to establish the best Nordic academy within four to five years.
because of limited playing fields, dressing rooms and infrastructure, assesses the football club not the college that is realistic to build in Farum.
Hence, FCN-management now with the Municipality about the plans.
“We have now reached a stage in the dialogue, where we can say that it is our intention to build and operate a brand new fodboldpark in Hillerød, where both our academy and the administration will hear at home,” says FCN-director Søren Kristensen to the club’s website.
the Construction of a new academy does not change the fact that the FCN will continue to play the team’s home games in the premier League in Farum, informs the club. The project is still at an early stage, there is no guarantee that it will be realized.
FCN have in recent years sold several of the club’s own talents to the large penalties, among other attacker Andreas Skov Olsen, who in the summer was bought by Bologna of the Italian Serie A.
