The series of successes in the Europa League can bring German soccer champions Bayer Leverkusen more than 40 million euros. Before the final against Atalanta Bergamo in Dublin (9 p.m./RTL), the Werkself have already secured 22.6 million euros in UEFA bonuses.
In the event of a final win, up to 8.5 million more are possible in victory bonuses (4) as well as entry bonuses (3.5) and victory bonuses (1) for the UEFA Super Cup game.
There are also shares from the market pool – for Eintracht Frankfurt that was around 4.5 million when they won the Europa League two years ago – and the income from the six home games is estimated at six million euros. Before the start of the competition, Bayer had calculated around 15 million euros in revenue in its budget.
