Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt can tackle the Champions League challenge at Tottenham Hotspur with the best team.
With the exception of Aurelio Buta, all professionals completed the final training in Frankfurt, as announced by the Hessians. Frankfurt is challenged by the Spurs on Wednesday (9 p.m. / DAZN) and wants to score again after the 0-0 in the first leg in order to improve the starting position for the first round of the round of 16. Only after training at home did the club fly to London on Tuesday afternoon.
Veteran Makoto Hasebe and striker Randal Kolo Muani are expected to return to the starting XI. Both were missing in the 3-0 defeat at VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Hasebe, 38, was praised for his performance against Tottenham and star striker Harry Kane in the first leg. He currently occupies the central part in the back three of the Hessians.
Kolo Muani, who was suspended in the Bundesliga, is regularly preferred to Rafael Borré and Lucas Alario in attack.
