National goalkeeper Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt will be back in the Bundesliga game on Saturday (6.30 p.m. / Sky) at leaders FC Bayern Munich.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper missed the Hessians because of a flu infection in the game at SC Freiburg (1-1). “Kevin is fit and is going to Munich with us,” said Eintracht head coach Oliver Glasner.
Fourth in the league travels confidently to the Bavarian metropolis: “We’re going to Munich with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. “We’ll do everything we can to win in Munich,” said Glasner.
Eintracht won 2-1 at FC Bayern last Bundesliga season, but lost the first leg of the current season’s season opener in their own arena 6-1 to the record champions. “Bayern have the best offense in the league and the best defense. Everything has to work for us,” said Glasner.
“We don’t care what’s written: whether we’re supposed to be the Bayern hunters or whatever, that shouldn’t be relevant to us. We want to make life difficult for Bayern and we’re capable of it.”
