Football superstar Travis Kelce has extended his contract with Super Bowl winner Kansas City Chiefs for two years. Kelce and the team from Missouri State announced this.
The 34-year-old partner of pop star Taylor Swift will receive a total of 34.25 million US dollars (around 32 million euros) for his future services, the AP news agency reported. Kelce was already considered one of the highest paid players at his position.
“Feels good to be in KC. I remember coming here 12 years ago. It’s an honor and a pleasure and I can’t wait to give it my all over the next two years,” Kelce said in a video posted by the Chiefs on X (formerly Twitter).
He has won the Super Bowl three times with the Chiefs, but Kelce is known beyond sports especially since his partnership with Swift became known last year. The 34-year-old attended numerous Chiefs games in the stadium last season and brought the NFL a lot of attention.
