The manager of Citizens has been reported Tuesday the dismissal of his charges to two leaders critical: the speaker in Asturias, Ignacio Prendes, and the speaker in Castilla – La Mancha, Orlena Michael. The two have received an email this afternoon informing them of its cessation, without giving reasons, according to have explained the research to THE COUNTRY. Prendes, and Miguel had been section of the criterion of the address before the November election on the veto to the agreements with the PSOE, and voted against the election of the members of the management company. After learning of these decisions of the manager, another of the leaders, critics, Francisco Igea, vice-president of Castile and León, has announced his resignation as regional secretary for programs of the party.
Sources of the manager have been passed on to this newspaper that the two dismissed “because they had no institutional positions or were members of the executive”, and therefore “had no sense that they were spokespersons in autonomous communities where there are people who do have these charges.” However, among the new appointments there are two speakers that do not have these charges: Joan Mesquida, who will be the spokesperson in the Balearic islands, and Beatriz Pino, in Galicia. But both are members of the manager.
The decision has stirred the waters within, tense calm until the party congress which is held next march 15 to choose the new president and the new address. Inés Arrimadas, speaker of parliament, is currently the only leader who has revealed his intention to run, although the vice-president of Castile and León, Francisco Igea, meditate if it is present. After the dismissals, Igea has released a tweet in which he announces his resignation of the position organic I held and asked his colleagues to “calm and confidence in yourselves”. “We are all citizens and Citizens of all”, stresses somewhat enigmatic.
