The National Police has stopped this Monday on the border that separates Melilla from Morocco, a woman and a man of moroccan nationality who were trying to move to a palestinian boy of 10 years hidden in a shopping cart.
As has informed on Tuesday a spokesman of the Headquarters Superior of Police, the small one is in good health and has been delivered to his own mother who was the host in the Centre for Temporary Stay of Immigrants (CETI) of Melilla. The incident occurred at one of the Monday afternoon at the border post of Beni Enzar, when officers of the Border force proceeded to the arrest of a woman who had to go on foot by the police control, from Morocco to Melilla carrying a shopping cart.
The officers realized that the cart was loaded with a weight above normal, so we proceeded to inspect it, pushing aside the bags of fruit and vegetables carried in the upper part of the cart until they could see the head of a child. The child that is in a good state of health, he carried with him documents that acreditaban be of palestinian origin and have 10 years of age. The police spokesman has stressed that given the fact that the mother of this child is currently in the CETI of Melilla, so that has taken the child with her.
The woman who tried to circumvent the control of the police, 38-year-old, next to a man who had helped in the transportation of the cart and that was pending that everything would be fine, of 34 years, both of moroccan nationality, have been arrested for a crime against the rights of foreign citizens and went to court this Tuesday.
