Heidi Klum (49) has consolidated her reputation as the “Queen of Halloween” with an extreme costume: Disguised as a giant worm, the model tripped past photographers in New York to her traditional Halloween party. Only small slits for the eyes and mouth were free under the reddish-shiny ringed “skin” layers.
A fishing hook was stuck in the plump tail end of the costume, the other end of the fishing rod was held by her husband Tom Kaulitz, who was disguised as a fisherman. The makeup artists had horribly disfigured the 33-year-old’s face with a drooping eye.
Throughout the day, Klum shared preparations for her this year’s costume with her fans. The model’s Instagram account initially featured a revealing photo with the caption: “Halloween Prep First Step!!” to see. Klum then released numerous other videos of the further progress of their costumes.
The 49-year-old had previously revealed to the US show “Entertainment Tonight” that she would feel “very claustrophobic”. She will wear heavy prosthetics to make herself unrecognizable.
Klum has often laid it on thick on Halloween. With expansive prosthetic buttocks and breasts and face pads, the 2015 model transformed into curvy cartoon character Jessica Rabbit. In 2018, after hours of work, she became the chubby Fiona from the animated film “Shrek”, with Tom Kaulitz at her side as a plump green ogre.
