Accompanied by his wife Rita Wilson (66) and his youngest son Truman Hanks (26), Oscar winner Tom Hanks (66) celebrated the premiere of his latest film “A Man Named Otto” in Madrid on Monday. The trio walked the red carpet in stylish looks – a rare sight.
While Tom Hanks came in a simple, black velvet suit, Rita Wilson chose a chic, black fringed dress and combined it with knee-high, golden boots. Son Truman Hanks appeared casual in black jeans, a black t-shirt, a dark green shirt and matching sneakers. With Truman in the middle, the couple proudly posed for the cameras.
Tom Hanks stars as Otto Anderson in A Man Called Otto. The film is based on the bestseller of the same name by Fredrik Backman (41). Filming began in February this year in the US state of Pennsylvania. Hanks’ wife Rita Wilson is part of the producing team. And his son Truman also takes part in the tragic comedy: in flashbacks he mimes the younger Otto. The film will be released in German cinemas on February 2, 2023.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are one of Hollywood’s dream couples and have been married since 1988. In addition to Truman, they also have their son Chet Hanks (32). From his first marriage to Samantha Lewes (1952-2002), which ended in divorce in 1987, Hanks brought two other children into the relationship: Colin (45) and Elizabeth (40).
