There’s a lot going on on the red carpet in London: Shortly before the release of the second part of the final season of “The Crown” on December 14th, the series stars met on Tuesday for the premiere at the Royal Festival Hall. In addition to the current cast of the sixth season, some actors from previous episodes were also at the event, including Emma Corrin (27) and Gillian Anderson (55).

Corrin appeared in London in a white tuxedo dress with a sheer skirt, shirt and black bow tie. The acting star played the role of the younger Princess Diana in front of Elizabeth Debicki (33). The two greeted each other with a warm hug on the red carpet. Debicki shined in a white maxi dress with long sleeves and sequins. The official Instagram account for The Crown and Netflix UK captured the moment with a photo on Instagram. “When Diana meets Diana,” the post said.

Gillian Anderson, who played former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in the fourth season, also came to the premiere in London. She was photographed in a black midi dress with polka dots and a full skirt.

Of course, the current leading actors such as Imelda Staunton (67) were also included. The Queen actress appeared in a dark green trouser suit made of elegant velvet. Meg Bellamy (21), Kate Middleton’s actress, also stood out. For the premiere she chose a floor-length, skin-tight evening dress with long sleeves. Bellamy was photographed with her co-stars Luther Ford (23) and Ed McVey (24), who play the brothers Harry and William.

Also in London were Dominic West (54, Prince Charles) and Jonathan Pryce (76, Prince Philip), Khalid Abdalla (42, Dodi Al-Fayed) and Salim Daw (73, Mohamed Al-Fayed), Lesley Manville (67, Princess Margaret) and Erin Doherty (31, Princess Anne). Netflix celebrated the special reunion on Instagram as “a family reunion for the ages.”

The second part of the sixth and final season of “The Crown” starts on Netflix on December 14th. This addresses, among other things, the life of the royals after the death of Princess Diana as well as the wedding of Camilla (Olivia Williams, 55) and Charles and the meeting of William and Kate.
