For many, Easter is above all a family celebration with Easter egg hunts, chocolate Easter bunnies and time with loved ones. Others enjoy the first vacation of the year and treat themselves to a few days off. This is how the celebrities spend the long Easter weekend:

Model Jessica M’Barek (35): “We’ll be on vacation. My husband and I recently started kitesurfing – in the Dominican Republic. Now we’re flying there again. I love Easter, I love all holidays! Me love to decorate – typically American. Of course as a child we hunted for eggs and went to church. But the most important thing is to be at home with the family, to stand in the kitchen together and cook.”

Actress Collien Ulmen-Fernandes (41): “At Easter I will be just before India with the dream ship. I’m trying to get my Indian extended family on the ship and then hopefully we’ll all celebrate Indian Easter there together.”

Actress Caroline Frier (40): “This year it will be a little different: we spend Easter in southern Spain and part of the family comes together to look for eggs at 25 degrees … wonderful! Let’s see if we have Easter eggs hide on the beach.”

Model Alena Gerber (33): “My sister is visiting from Dublin, my dad and my grandma are coming and we’re having a really nice family party with our little one and our new dog. We just got a little puppy from the animal shelter. Den we can’t leave it alone for a while now, especially since he’s very attached to us. We hide presents and Easter baskets and then we all go looking together. I love Easter, it’s one of my favorite celebrations of the whole year – the more family, the better!”

Model Kim Hnizdo (26): “I always celebrate Easter with my family, everyone comes together. It’s my birthday around Easter, so the festival is always about me.”

Model Soulin Omar (22): “We didn’t celebrate Easter as a child in Syria, but since I’ve been in Germany it’s been part of it, like Christmas. I go to the Easter bonfire with friends and eat. Just enjoy the days off.”

Entertainer Jürgen Milski (59): “For me, Easter is actually the time when I like to think back to my childhood and my daughter’s childhood! I don’t celebrate Easter myself at all.”
