In the latest episode of reality soap “The Kardashians,” cosmetics billionaire Kylie Jenner (25) denies having undergone extensive surgical alterations to her face. According to People magazine, make-up mogul Jenner, who amassed a billion-dollar fortune at a young age with her “Kylie Cosmetics” line, has thus defended herself against rumors that she has left “her whole face” to the arts of plastic surgeons.
On the contrary: compared to her half-sisters Kourtney (44) and Khloé (39), the influencer and entrepreneur emphasizes that she has always accepted herself and is by no means the insecure person she is sometimes portrayed as. Only the occasional facial treatment with so-called “fillers” was openly admitted by the 25-year-old in the series.
It’s “normal to be insecure from time to time,” emphasizes Jenner in the soap episode. Publicly repeated assumptions that she suffers from a lack of self-confidence and therefore undergoes regular cosmetic surgery are completely inappropriate: “As far as I can remember, I was always the most confident girl in the room. I’ve always loved myself the way I am.”
She no longer wants to accept other rumors and speculations about her appearance and her alleged compulsion to extensively edit all her photos. With her half-sisters Khloé and Kourtney, both successful fashion entrepreneurs, Kylie only finds approval: Kourtney criticizes the “high beauty standards in the world”, Khloé blames “society in general” for the fact that women always have to resort to new beauty tricks.
