In 2021, professional dancer Ekaterina Leonova (35) and “Big Brother” legend Jürgen Milski (59) competed against each other in “Das Große Promibacken”. On April 5, the two will now fight as a team in “The Big Celebrity Baking – Easter Special” (8:15 p.m., Sat.1) for the golden cupcake and 10,000 euros for a good cause – with a clear division of tasks.
“Ekaterina is the perfectionist and I’m the busy bee,” Milski put it in an interview with spot on news. “We were the perfect team, I just get along great with Ekat,” enthuses the entertainer. Even if he got one step further than Ekaterina in 2021, he doesn’t see himself as the better baker. “We both have our strengths and our weaknesses and are absolutely equal!”
Milski hasn’t really honed his baking skills since he first took part. “If I’m honest, after the ‘Big Celebrity Baking’ I always bought my cake from my favorite baker and no longer baked it myself,” admits Milski. “Not because I don’t like to bake, but who cleans up the whole mess after baking,” laughs the 59-year-old.
However, the fact that he gets along well with Ekaterina does not mean that he would also whirl across the dance floor with the professional dancer. “Ekaterina would despair of my dancing skills. She’s the strictest dance coach on ‘Let’s Dance’ and I’m more of the funny bird who doesn’t take it all that seriously as you know. That’s why we would fight every day get,” Milski is sure.
Nevertheless, the singer does not rule out further participation in “Let’s Dance”. He also looks back positively on the numerous other TV formats of his long career. “I would immediately take part in every single TV format again. It doesn’t matter whether it’s ‘Let’s Dance’, ‘Jungle Camp’, ‘Beat the Star’, ‘The Big Promibacken’, ‘Celebrity Dinner’, ‘Big Brother’ and like that Formats were all called. All these formats were huge adventures for me and brought in a lot of money!”
