What happened after the 17th season with the love triangle between Mike Heiter (31), Leyla Lahouar (27) and Kim Virginia (28)? This is one of the key questions that arise in the “aftermath” of the jungle camp in 2024. Many die-hard fans resented the fact that the three dating show plants hijacked the discussions in and around the reality flagship.

Two weeks after the end of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40) invite you to review on Sunday (8:15 p.m. on RTL and RTL). “Rarely has so much happened after the camp as in this season,” says Sonja Zietlow at the start.

First there is a flashback to the party in the jungle shortly after the finale. Kim Virginia takes a long time, her house shaman covers her with perfume to ward off the evil eye. Then the self-proclaimed Queen enters the celebration. But as befits her status, the real queen is the last one allowed to open the official part of the evening: Lucy Diakovska (47). There is dancing. Mike and Leyla leave the dance floor arm in arm.

Nothing has happened between them since then. They only had contact “by phone and in writing,” as Mike reveals. There is said to have been physical contact between Mike and Kim after the graduation ceremony in Australia. At least that’s what Kim claims to Anya Elsner (20) in the green room next to the studio. Quiet, but loud enough for the microphones to hear. Although she was allegedly given a legal gag order. Mike is said to have knocked on their hotel room door and then they “bumped”. The rumor is already circulating on the return flight, which is shown in detail in the “episode”. In the studio, Mike now denies the rumors. However, he confirms that he has used lawyers against Kim.

Like the entire season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” will also be the “episode” to the Kim Virginia Festival. Her campaign of revenge against ex-lover Mike is detailed. In one clip, her fellow campers had to comment on a minute-long MAZ with the ex-stewardess’ worst-off. “I need a barf bag,” moaned Leyla.

Kim at least apologizes to Mike for bringing up his young daughter in a tirade. For this she insulted Felix von Jascheroff (41) in the video. Who shoots back in the studio (“Shut up”).

Leyla was accompanied by the camera on her return to Frankfurt. First to her mother and then on a “doner kebab date” with her best friend Selina. She recalled the flirtation with Mike, which he abruptly broke off in the jungle. “I just liked it,” Leyla tells her friend. “It went from a beautiful thing to a cringy thing,” she sums up. Seline thinks Mike is a “stupid asshole” but gives him another chance.

Mike, on the other hand, doesn’t let himself be pinned down to anything in the studio. “You are on the same wavelength” is the highest feeling he allows to be expressed.

In the Green Room, the theater in the Kim-Mike-Leyla triangle continues. Heinz Hoenig (72), who otherwise doesn’t seem to notice much of what’s going on around him, gets fed up at some point. Jan Köppen would like to thank Kim on behalf of all of RTL because she generated so much attention.

And what has changed for the other campers in the last 14 days? So for the celebrities who aren’t named Kim, Mike or Leyla.

Twenty4Tim (23) feels better since the jungle. Unlike in previous years, he was no longer threatened at the carnival. But trouble threatens. Kim whispered in the green room that she had something with the bisexual influencer.

For Fabio Knez (30), business is going even better than usual. When it comes to foot care, Germany’s best-known vacuum cleaner representative has been told that he is the winner of everyone’s hearts. Sarah Kern (56) gets as little airtime as she has in the entire season. And David Odonkor (39) looks sadly out of the laundry in the studio.

There is nothing new with Cora Schuhmacher (47). Before her premature exit in the jungle, she had spoken of an affair with Oliver Pocher (45). Which he denies. And what Cora, unlike Kim, doesn’t do now.
