Jamie Foxx (56) seems to be in front of the camera again. According to “Page Six”, the actor was spotted with co-star Cameron Diaz (51) on the set of the film “Back in Action” in Atlanta, Georgia. It will be the first time since Foxx had health problems in April 2023, the New York Post’s celebrity page reports. “Page Six” also published accompanying photos.
Foxx was hospitalized in April for an undisclosed medical issue. His daughter Corrine (29) announced at the time that he “had a medical complication” but was “already on the mend.” The actor retired for several months. At the end of last year he celebrated his return to the public.
The actor’s birthday was on December 13th – and he gave his fans a hint about how difficult the past few months have been for him. To mark his special day, Foxx posted a series of pictures on Instagram showing him behind the wheel of a car wearing sunglasses. The mime explained: “This birthday is a special one.” He then thanked everyone who prayed for him during his illness. He told his fans and followers: “I needed every prayer.”
Once again, the social media post did not reveal what exactly led to his hospitalization nine months ago. Foxx has so far remained tight-lipped on this very private issue. Appearing at a Critics Choice Association awards show on December 4, he simply stated that he had “seen the tunnel” but not the light, adding, “It’s hard when it’s almost over.”
In the summer, Foxx addressed his fans in a video. “I went through hell and back,” he said at the time, tearfully. His sister Deidra Dixon and daughter Corinne saved his life.
