Wrapped up in down jackets, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan recently enjoyed the bitter cold in Canada. Photos showed the two in the popular winter sports resort of Whistler. They were accompanied there not only by many onlookers, but also by a camera team from “Good Morning America”.
Because Prince Harry has given another major interview – it’s clear that people are looking more closely, especially in his home country Great Britain. Harry was interviewed by Will Reeve, the son of “Superman” actor Christopher Reeve. Reeve and Prince Harry share a similar fate: they both lost a parent when they were just 12 years old – Harry his mother Diana and Reeve his father.
Regarding King Charles’ cancer, Reeve wanted to know from his well-known interview guest whether he believes the diagnosis could bring the family closer together again. “I’m sure,” Harry replied. His experiences with the families of wounded war veterans showed him something similar. “Every illness brings families closer together. I see that again and again and that makes me happy,” said the Duke of Sussex. “I jumped on a plane and went to see him as quickly as I could,” he said of his spontaneous trip home to see his father. “I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and see him and spend time with him, I’m very grateful for that,” said Harry forgivingly.
Harry also talked about his and Meghan’s two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The two had a great sense of humor and made him laugh every day, Harry revealed. These are conciliatory words from Harry towards his family after he had recently given out more swipes in interviews. Last year he gave a few interviews to promote his autobiography “Reserve” (“Spare”). He repeatedly took the opportunity to talk about the feud with his brother William and his personal traumas.
