It was one of the most exciting questions before the final of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” on Saturday evening: Would Katja Krasavice and Dieter Bohlen escalate their dispute, which has also been public for months? But the two brawlers preferred to leave the stage to the candidates and let Sem Eisinger have his big moment as the winner. The conflict was not settled because of that – Krasavice made that clear on Sunday morning.

In an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”, the juror spoke as usual: she will not return to the jury in the 21st season that has just been announced. And planks is the reason. “I stand for values, and I represent them, I can’t continue in the constellation with Dieter,” she told the Sunday newspaper. “I will not allow anyone to sit next to me who stomps these values into the ground.”

Krasavice and Bohlen had clashed publicly several times in the past few months. Bohlen brought her into the show himself and gave her financial tips (you can find out more in this interview). The argument started because the DSDS veteran had messed around with the candidate Jill Lange in his well-known way. Krasavice found the fellow juror’s sayings extremely insulting – and therefore addressed him publicly. “The worst thing I found was that Dieter didn’t apologize to Jill,” she confirmed to “BAMS”. “It takes five seconds, but he lacks this size.”

But it wasn’t just the conflict about Lange that led to the decision. The “pop titan” Bohlen was also a thorn in her side overall. “He only talks to the men. I was polite to him for a long time. I thought, come on, he’s an older man, maybe he’s tired,” she told the newspaper. “Until I finally got it: Dieter doesn’t respect women. He’s just embarrassing.”

No wonder that presenter Laura Wontorra relied on descalation right at the beginning of the show. “I would ask you that we do without beef today, that’s all I can say,” she appealed to the jurors. TV professional Bohlen also stuck to it. And just largely ignored Krasavice.

She couldn’t hold back quite so well and risked one or the other side blow. Before her favorite Sem was the winner, she had some advice for his negotiations with the DSDS veteran: “If you win here, you go on tour with Dieter. I heard what fees there are. I would negotiate again. Because you’re really badass!”
