When the OLYMPICS in Tokyo will be taking place next summer, are there good opportunities for Danish medals in dressage.
Anna Kasprzak is one of the many Danish dressurryttere, which has the ability to get to the OLYMPICS as one of three Danish riders, and with two OLYMPICS participations in the backpack, she has the experience.
But the 30-year-old milliardærarving, who is the daughter of the owner of shoe empire Ecco, Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak has got some unforeseen challenges, she says, to B. T.
In October she made sure the 10-year-old gelding Fuhur, which was to focus on towards the OLYMPICS. It is a horse, which in the past have made great progress with the Russian rider Elena Sidneva.
“He has got something that we assume was an allergic reaction, where he raised up all four legs and had buds all over the body. So he has not been fit to train,” told Anna Kasprzak, at a large press conference with the participation of more than 100 OLYMPIC hopefuls participants in the Experimentarium.
Why is she first in december come in with your training with the Fuhur. In the next months, the horse and Anna Kasprzak really get to know each other. The horse must divert to Anna Kasprzaks height, her way to ride on and her commands, before she will ride his first competition with him for February.
But with the OLYMPICS just a little over seven months away, this is Anna Kasprzak aware that it becomes a bit of a race against time. Therefore, the screws she down for the OLYMPICS-the expectations for now.
“It is a very short time. I feel that way right now, I really want to do this. But it must not be for any price. I would also like to think long-term. I’m looking certainly also at 2024.”
“Now I have the last two OLYMPICS, been to the place with the same horse, and we were almost melted together. This is a completely new situation. In the meantime, I also become a mother, so there are many things that clutter,” says Anna Kasprzak.
And when the competition is so big, that isn’t going to be a big defeat for Anna Kasprzak, if she is not when with to Tokyo.
“We have a stronger B-squad, than we probably ever have had, so there are many good on the tender. It makes it fun, for you must be super good. And it provides a motivation to come up with, for we have really good medaljechancer in holdsammenhæng. But in my situation it will not be terrible not to come by,” says Anna Kasprzak.
She is not the only one who can reveal little changed plans, at the OLYMPICS-the press conference at the Experimentarium.
Catherine Dufour, who was at the OLYMPICS in Rio, is going to change the horse.
for several years she has used the horse Cassidy, which she has delivered great results together with. But she is likely to bet on the younger horse, Bohemian.
“It is a little about the tough journey that is for the horses, as well as the climate. It is doing younger horses just better than the older horses. So, if you ask me today, I believe it will be Bohemian. But there are still seven months to the, and they come to train side by side at a high level, and are both driven high up on the rankings. But personally, I think very much that the Bohemians top level gets really high. Also in relation to the Cassidys,” says Cathrine Dufour.
Dressurkonkurrencen at the OLYMPICS being put in time the day after the opening ceremony, to be held on 24. July.
