Easter Sunday and Easter Monday belonged to the new Berlin investigative team. In the two-parter “Tatort: Nothing but the truth” the new commissioner Susanne Bonard alias Corinna Harfouch (68) appeared on the scene for the first time. Together with Robert Karow (Mark Waschke, 51) she is on the trail of a right-wing network in the two new crime novels. Bonard actually only wanted to clear up this one case, but what the fans know from the start: she stays longer. At the end, when Karow wants to shake hands with her to say goodbye, she only smiles and says “see you on Monday”. But what’s next for the two of them?
The news agency spot on news asked rbb. “The shooting for the next ‘crime scene’ with Susanne Bonard (Corinna Harfouch) and Robert Karow (Mark Waschke) is planned for late summer/autumn 2023,” the broadcaster said. However, further details are not yet known. “I immediately thought it was a great idea to become a ‘Tatort’ commissioner in Berlin,” said Harfouch in 2019 when it was announced that she would succeed Meret Becker (54). She is happy “to work together with Mark Waschke in Berlin”.
Meret Becker, aka Nina Rubin, announced her departure from the Sunday evening thriller in May 2019. On May 22, 2022, the last episode with her flickered across the screens. In the case of “Tatort: The girl who goes home alone” her character is shot on duty. “I wanted a definitive ending,” the actress said in an interview with spot on news at the time.
