Actress Sandra Hülser says she still has to get used to the new attention after her Oscar nomination. “I have to giggle in the morning because it’s so beautiful,” the 45-year-old, who comes from Suhl in Thuringia and lives in Leipzig, told the US magazine “Variety”. “When I walk my dog, people shout congratulations to me. People I’ve never seen before!”
Hülser is nominated for best actress for the legal drama “Anatomy of a Case”. The drama by French director Justine Triet is also in the running for the Oscar for Best Film – as is “The Zone of Interest” by Jonathan Glazer, in which Hülser plays the wife of a concentration camp commander. The 96th Academy Awards will take place on March 10th.
