If the Dax is still just under 16,000 points, it will not make any progress on Monday. The leading German index was hardly changed at around noon with minus 0.04 percent to 15,875.07 points. The MDax of medium-sized stocks was 0.28 percent higher at 27,819.82 points. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 lost around 0.2 percent.

There were no impulses from the Ifo index. The mood in the German economy brightened further in April. In detail, however, the results were mixed. Market expert Thomas Altmann from asset manager QC Partners analyzed the Ifo index as showing that the recent sharp rise in share prices remains a very risky bet on the future.
