On the fourth day of losses in a row, the Dax fell below 16,000 points on Thursday. After slipping to 15,810 points, the Dax was able to start a countermovement during the course of the day.
The leading German index reduced the minus to just a moderate 0.22 percent at 15,988.16 points. Driven by jumps in the price of some heavyweights, the MDax even rose by 1.19 percent to 26,898.25 points.
