On July 11th and 12th, Amazon celebrated its first Prime Day 2023. If you missed a particularly good offer, you can look forward to it now. The shipping giant has now announced a second Prime Day, without revealing the exact date. So far there is only the month: In October 2023 the time has come.
That sounds familiar to die-hard bargain fans. Last year, Amazon announced a second Prime Day for the first time in the company’s history. Amazon called the second Prime Day “Prime Exclusive Offers”. Back then, by the way, the bargain rush increased on October 11th and 12th, 2022.
This year, too, Amazon insists on giving the second Prime Day a nice name: in 2023 the event will be called “Prime Deal Days”. The name of the second Prime Day already reveals that the bargain festival will last at least two days. Of course, the discounts remain more important and, as with the first Prime Day, they are of course withheld from Amazon Prime customers.

The Prime subscription currently costs EUR 8.99 per month. In addition to free shipping, Prime customers also get access to Prime Video and Amazon Music. Important: If you are not yet a Prime customer, it is better to wait until the second Prime day to subscribe because the first 30 days are free for new customers. After the trial period has expired, you should of course cancel the subscription if you only want to benefit from the discounts on the Prime Deal Days.
Perfect preparation is of course a must for bargain hunters. It makes sense to think about which product you actually want to buy before Prime Day. So create a wish list on Amazon. Use the app on your smartphone for this, because it can send you a push notification to your smartphone as soon as the desired product is reduced.

The same applies to time-limited offers and the so-called lightning offers. As soon as a lightning offer goes online, you will be informed by push notification and can strike. Important: Keep an eye on the competition despite the big discounts. In the case of particularly good offers, other retailers are happy to follow suit or reduce similar products.
