The new Ærø-ferry is going to postpone its maiden voyage.
the Ferry by the name of ÆrøXpressen does not come in regular service on Sunday, as was the plan.
It writes TV2 Fyn.
the Reason for the delay is that there are additional requirements for the documentation of the systems aboard, but the ferry sailing otherwise fine, shall notify the company according to TV2 Fyn.
Those who have purchased or ordered tickets from 8. 17. december, get the money back.
“All who have booked and paid for flights before the 18. december, of course, will get a separate message and will get their money returned,” says the board in ÆrøXpressen according to TV2 Fyn.
the Ferry will sail between Marstal on Ærø and Rudkøbing on Langeland island and has space for 32 cars and 200 passengers. Overfartstiden will be reduced from 75 minutes to 40 minutes.
ÆrøXpressen has been barely three years in the making and is now scheduled to sail from the 18. december.
