On average, a full-time employee in Germany earns 4,105 euros gross per month. The Federal Statistical Office officially determined this sum for April 2022. However, the statisticians also say: Two thirds of employees earn less than this amount. And in individual cases everything is different anyway. Because the individual salary can depend on many factors: industry and educational qualifications, professional experience and company size, collective agreement or negotiating skills. Even for the same profession, very different salaries can be paid.
