The ACS group, through its subsidiary Services, Communications and Energy, has reached an initial agreement for the sale of their projects of photovoltaic energy in Spain with a total installed power of 3,000 megawatts (MW) for a total value of 2,200 million euros. the operation will bring about gains that may be recorded in the income statement for the year ended 31st December net profit
The company that presides over Floretino Perez has not disclosed the buyer or buyers of the assets sold, which includes both projects that are currently in operation as well as those that are expected to be developed and put into operation between 2020 and 2022, both inclusive.
it Is expected that the formalization of the full agreement of purchase and sale is carried out at the end of this month of January. In November, the corporate general manager of the group, Angel Garcia Altozano, have already advanced the intention of the group to conclude the divestment of renewable energy assets it has in its subsidiary, Zero-E “in a few months.”
however, ACS has ratified the commitment of the group for the business of renewables, to ensure that it will continue to invest in the construction of facilities for clean energy generation, both in Spain and abroad. Between January and September of 2019, the company has devoted to this business 850 million, which exceeded the 480 million invested in around 2018, and won the net investment total of 1.271 billion carried out until September.
