According to the survey, the new Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) alliance could immediately achieve 5.5 percent of the other parties. It is ahead of the Left with 4.5 percent and the FDP with three percent.

According to the survey, there are clear differences between voters in West and East Germany. In the west, the Union is ahead with 29 percent approval, in the east the AfD is ahead with 32 percent.

The Left only achieved four percent approval in the West and seven percent in the East. The BSW only comes to five percent in the west, but nine percent in the east.

Insa surveyed 2,101 people aged 16 and over in Germany online from February 8th to 12th. Elections will take place in Germany on June 9th.
