As the concert begins, the evening sun casts its rays on the Parliament building on the other side of the Danube. Veronika Harcsa enters the stage and begins to sing, a mixture of jazz and pop, patting her chest to the beat of the music. A man accompanies her on the guitar.

It is early summer in 2021. The seats are all taken, which is still unusual, because the time when everything was shut down was not long ago in Budapest either. It is Harcsa’s fifth event since lockdown ended.
