Human Mobility (evolution of Kymco Mobility) will independently control Kymco and Yadea in Spain
MADRID, 19 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The e-scooter and two-wheeled electric vehicle brand Yadea has announced its official launch in Spain, after closing the first official distribution agreement in the country, as reported in a statement.
The company expects to exceed 200 sales and after-sales points in Spain this year, which would make the Spanish market its largest international physical sales channel outside of Asia.
The entry into the Spanish market is part of the international growth strategy and reinforcement of the company’s expansion plan towards Europe, after doubling its size in the last two years with 13.9 million units sold in 2021.
“We are delighted to announce the launch of Yadea in Spain, which is immersed in an optimal phase of take-off of urban electric mobility, with interesting political proposals underway to achieve sustainable cities”, announced the CEO of Yadea Europe, Aska Zeng .
Zeng explained that the movement of the company in Spain will go hand in hand with local partners with the capacity to generate value, with the aim of offering “sustainable mobility proposals to the countries most committed to the decarbonization process and the mobility of the future” .
Founded in 2001, Yadea manufactures and develops electric vehicles (scooters, scooters, bicycles, etc.) and accessories, and is present in more than 90 countries. The company ensures that it offers “clean mobility tools, with highly advanced technologies and available to everyone; a formula that it has followed since its inception, within its commitment to sustainability.” Likewise, the brand highlights its commitment to the I D i area, with investments of more than 120 million euros per year, 1,300 patents accumulated in 2021 and 1,000 people on staff dedicated to this segment.
The company’s plan in Spain will be presented on June 21 in Madrid and the roadmap focuses on urban scooters (mopeds and motorcycles) and scooters, aimed at individuals and companies. The strategy will have the support of the ‘ecommerce’ channel, but its business plan will be based mainly on the traditional physical store channel, in line with Yadea’s ‘modus operandi’ globally, which has 40,000 points of sale.
Yadea Global has entrusted Human Mobility with the official distribution of Yadea in Spain, as it is the most specialized distributor of Asian two-wheeled vehicles in Spain in the private channel. Behind Human Mobility are the promoters of the Kymco brand in Spain, since its inception in 1995. Human Mobility (evolution of Kymco Mobility) will independently control Kymco and Yadea in Spain.
Regarding Human Mobility, Yadea has defined it as a project born in Spain to lead the transformation of urban electric mobility in the country. Since the beginning of 2020, it has maintained active contacts with top-level Asian manufacturers to bring together different projects and clean technologies and thus boost electric mobility in Spain.
For Human Mobility, Yadea Global is the best partner to start this project, due to its experience and knowledge of 20 years of specialization in the electric vehicle; for its commitment to R&D as a lever for growth, and for its commitment to the principles of sustainability.
