The India Philanthropy Alliance, in collaboration with Indiaspora and Dalberg Advisors, conducted a survey to gain insights into the philanthropic and volunteerism behaviors of Indian Americans. This survey is a follow-up to a previous study conducted in 2018, aiming to track the evolution of attitudes and engagement in philanthropy within the Indian American community and compare it to other benchmarks.
The survey aims to collect 1,000-1,500 completed responses by early December to ensure comprehensive and valuable insights. Individuals are encouraged to participate in this 15-minute survey and share it with their networks to help reach the target number of responses.
By understanding the perspectives and behaviors of Indian Americans towards philanthropy and volunteerism, the India Philanthropy Alliance hopes to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the community. This information will be instrumental in shaping future initiatives and programs aimed at promoting and facilitating charitable giving and community service.
It is crucial for Indian Americans to actively participate in this survey to ensure that their voices are heard and their unique perspectives are taken into account. By sharing their experiences and opinions on philanthropy and volunteerism, individuals can contribute to the development of more targeted and impactful strategies for giving back to society.
Through collaborative efforts and comprehensive data collection, the India Philanthropy Alliance, Indiaspora, and Dalberg Advisors are working towards creating a more informed and engaged philanthropic community among Indian Americans. By coming together and sharing their insights, individuals can play a significant role in shaping the future of philanthropy within the community.
