The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has unveiled this Monday the list of the national football coach, Luis Enrique Martínez, for the first four games of the group stage of the League of Nations that will be played in just eleven days of the month of June.

Among the main novelties of the call are the returns of the madridistas Carvajal and Marco Asensio. The winger was expected, due to his good work in recent commitments with his club, but not so much the attacker, much more discreet.

They also highlight the return of Thiago, despite the possible injury of the Liverpool midfielder, and Ansu Fati.

Left out of the list are Gayá, who gives the left back to Jordi Alba and Marcos Alonso, and Gerard Moreno, who has finished the campaign with physical problems.

The Asturian coach has announced the ones chosen for the marathon of matches that Spain will have between June 2 and 10, two at home and two away, just one day after LaLiga Santander 2021-2022 lowered the curtain.

Spain will begin their journey in a competition in which they are the current runner-up on Thursday the 2nd at the Benito Villamarín in Seville against Portugal, and later they will travel to Prague to play against the Czech Republic on Sunday the 5th.

The three-time European champion will also play her third game of the League of Nations away, against Switzerland in Geneva on Thursday June 9, and will close this first half at La Rosaleda in Malaga on Sunday the 12th against the Czech team.

The concentration for the dispute of these four matches, a small ‘marathon’ that will also serve to begin fine-tuning the set-up for the Qatar World Cup at the end of the year, will begin on Monday, May 30, at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas from 1:30 p.m.

Once the list has been revealed, Luis Enrique will appear before the media at the RFEF headquarters to analyze and explain the call.
