An unprecedented ideological gap is growing between young men and women in the USA, England, South Korea and also Germany. This is what it says in an article in the “Financial Times” that recently caused a lot of excitement and some horror scenarios. The “Zeit” dedicated a front-page editorial to the data, under the headline “You on the left, he on the right.” The young generation is suddenly showing “a surprising double face,” it says. Young women lean left, young men “turn right, toward the good old days.” South Korea is already showing what happens when men and women no longer get along: a “birth rate at a record low level.”
