DK Metcalf did not attend the Seahawks’ mandatory Minicamp last week, and another wide receiver in the 2019 draft class seems to be on track for missing one this week.

The Washington Post’s Nicki Jhabvala reports that Terry McLaurin traveled to Florida on Sunday to continue his workouts. He is not likely to attend Commanders minicamp. McLaurin has been working alone throughout the offseason and will be fined over $95,000 if he misses any part of the three-day minicamp.

McLaurin is searching for a new contract in the final year on his rookie deal. Jhabvala reports that there has been some progress, but that both sides are still far apart as the offseason program ends.

McLaurin caught 77 passes for 1,053 yards, and five touchdowns in the 2021 season.
