The Cantabile choir has returned after two years of being absent due to Covid. Saturday, June 4, at 8:30 p.m. at the church Issigeac. Sunday, June 5, at 4 p.m. at Saint-Martin d’Eymet. The Cantabile d’Eymet chamber chorus, directed by Michele Lhopiteau and featuring two “Underthe Italian Sun” concerts. The program includes Pergolesi and Marcello, Pergolesi as well as Pergolesi, Gastoldi, Pergolesi and Rossini. On stage will be the Mascaret de Bordeaux string Quartet, Elisabeth Parry playing flute and John Alley at keyboard.

Cantabile d’Eymet will be performing in these two concerts for the first time since January 2020. It has a smaller staff but offers an entirely new program that is challenging and in which the choir occupies a prominent position. .
