Unknown thieves stole copper cables and pipes from an empty clinic building in the Northeim district and caused damage of up to 100,000 euros. In the period from June 26 to last Sunday, the perpetrators removed their loot from the clinic in Bad Gandersheim – probably with a car, the police said on Tuesday. With “massive violence” and tools, the gang got the pipes and cables out of the empty building. There should have been “a not inconsiderable amount of noise”. The police are looking for witnesses.
