Special police forces freed a woman in Kiel who was being held against her will on Tuesday evening. The 29-year-old was then taken to a hospital for medical examinations, the police announced in the evening. Special forces arrested a suspect. The 27-year-old is said to have held the woman in an old hangar building.
Since the morning, police officers had been searching for the woman who had been missing from relatives since Sunday on the site, which had been abandoned since 2013. Dogs were also used. In the afternoon, the authorities launched a public search for the man. According to police, on Tuesday evening they managed to see and observe the suspect on the premises. The special forces then finally arrested him. The police initially did not provide any further information.
