The Civil Guard has arrested five people in two different homes, in the towns of Yeles and Esquivias, for two separate crimes of cultivation and production of narcotic substances and for fraud of electricity. One of the detainees is also charged with a crime of breach of sentence.
Last March, the Civil Guard of Esquivias received an anonymous citizen complaint through the email colabora@guardiacivil.org informing about a possible indoor marijuana plantation in the same town. After starting the investigations, in order to verify the veracity of the information, a new alert was received, due to similar events, although this time in Yeles.
After requesting the expert report on the consumption of electricity in the indicated homes, it yielded values ??so high that they could correspond to those of a place with commercial or industrial activity.
The Civil Guard, with all the data collected during the investigations, requested an entry and registration order from the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 4 of Illescas.
At the time of the operation, 7.9 kilos of dried marijuana were seized at the Esquivias address, ready to be put up for sale, 1,000 euros in cash, whose legal origin could not be proven, 239 adult plants, in an advanced stage of flowering and all the means to maintain and produce the indoor plantation. At that time, a couple, a man and a woman, both 40 years old, who lived at that address, were arrested.
At Yeles’ home, 160 plants were seized, which were located in two different rooms, each with 80 specimens. Also, all the necessary tools for cultivation. On this occasion there were three people arrested, two men and one woman aged between 18 and 26 years.
All the detainees and the intervened effects were placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
