A shop in a shopping center in Hanover burned down on Monday evening. Firefighters said the fire was under control after about two hours. Nobody was injured. Customers were able to leave the market for decorative and household items in good time because the fire alarm system sounded the alarm, it said. The entire sales room was ultimately on fire.
Firefighters were also busy trying to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. The fire brigade said the flames had spread comparatively quickly. There was no information on the extent of the damage as of Monday evening.
