Climate protection demonstrators protested in front of the entrance to a private aircraft terminal at Berlin Airport. About 15 demonstrators stood and sat in front of the building on Thursday, as a dpa reporter observed. They wore white coats and demanded, among other things, a ban on private jets. This was announced by the group “Scientist Rebellion” on Twitter. They accused “the super-rich” of causing great damage with their “jet-set lifestyle”. The conservation group Robin Wood said: “Private jets are an extremely climate-damaging luxury that the world can no longer afford.”

There have been similar actions in other countries in the past few days. Since the beginning of the year, other groups have repeatedly blocked motorway exits and large intersections in major German cities.
