People in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can look forward to a warm start to the weekend with temperatures of up to 19 degrees. As reported by the German Weather Service, a south-westerly current carries very mild sea air to the two federal states. As a result, temperatures between 16 and 19 degrees will be reached on Friday and between 15 and 19 degrees on Saturday. The weather will cool down a bit on Sunday. The DWD expects temperatures between 11 and 14 degrees.
While on Friday during the day showers are only possible in the Eifel area and there is no precipitation elsewhere, there may be occasional showers on Saturday night. A few thunderstorms are possible on Saturday evening after a variable to heavily cloudy day. According to the DWD, there should also be rain and short thunderstorms on Sunday.
