Cristina Jimenez (number 3 in the VOX candidacy) has decried during a visit in Pinar to agricultural exploitation that the PP government has joined in the criminalization the countryside with laws and measures inspired by the 2030 Agenda as well as radical environmentalism.
“We are in Montes Orientales, where farmers and ranchers report severe difficulties to make their production profitable. Jimenez explained VOX’s plans to Jimenez: Promote the infrastructure to bring abundant irrigation to our producers; encourage the economic model in our field; support bullfighting, the rich traditions of Andalusia and defend hunting as a hunting sport>>
The lack of assistance is a major problem in the province, according to the candidate. She stated that VOX would repeal all regulations that render any agricultural venture unfeasible. However, this will not apply to imports from third-country countries. Jimenez reminded residents of the region – which has a rich hunting tradition – that VOX “openly supports hunting as an essential hunting activity in order to preserve the conservations of fauna and natural areas in our region.” The training also requires the protection of hunters from attacks by animal movements. She recalls that they don’t understand the importance of this activity in our field.
