If you prefer to use a vegan mask without animal gelatin, which contains bones, cartilage and connective tissue from cattle and pigs, you can use vegetable agar agar. These are carbohydrates that are found in the cell walls of blue and red algae. Agar agar is obtained from sun-dried algae, then dried and processed into powder. Most drugstores, health food stores and health food stores have the herbal gelling agent in their range.
Crush the tablets with a mortar and boil water at the same time. Then mix the charcoal powder with the hot water and the gelatine, or the vegetable binder, until there are no more lumps. For the optimal consistency of the mask, you can heat the mixture in the microwave for about 30 seconds at 800 watts until it thickens slightly. The exact duration depends on the individual power of your microwave. After heating, the paste must cool briefly before it can be applied.
