If you prefer to use a vegan mask without animal gelatin, which contains bones, cartilage and connective tissue from cattle and pigs, you can use vegetable agar agar. These are carbohydrates that are found in the cell walls of blue and red algae. Agar agar is obtained from sun-dried algae, then dried and processed into powder.
