The police stopped a man in Zwingenberg (Bergstrasse district) who was driving around on his e-scooter with a breath alcohol content of more than 2 per mille. According to the South Hesse Police Headquarters, the emergency services who stopped the man early on Wednesday evening quickly noticed that the 53-year-old was drunk. A breath alcohol test showed the man had a blood alcohol level of 2.33. He now has to answer in a criminal case for drunk driving.
