Two calves died in a fire on a farm in the Nordfriesland district. On the site in Achtrup, a warehouse caught fire on Friday, which, in addition to the animals, also contained bales of hay and a tractor, as a spokesman for the northern control center said on Saturday night. The spokesman was initially unable to say exactly how many animals were in the hall. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to an adjacent cowshed. The warehouse burned down completely. There was damage of around 300,000 euros. It was initially unclear how the fire started.
