The actor Hinnerk Schönemann (48, “Nord bei Nordwest”) has lived on a property in the countryside of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for years. He therefore considers himself lucky, especially in the energy crisis. “I have forest, so wood. You just have to put in the work – we only heat with wood here,” said Schönemann of the German Press Agency in Hamburg. And explained: “We get the dead wood in winter, throw the logs in our big stove. It’s the most beautiful warmth in the world.”
Even before the crisis, the star of the ARD crime series “Nord bei Nordwest” revealed that he wanted to be independent of gas and oil, also because of the size of his former LPG building. In their next episode “On the Run” (January 5, 8:15 p.m.) Schönemann will direct for the first time. The film is about four criminals who take the veterinarian Jule (Marleen Lohse) and her intern (Carolin Garnier) hostage in the fictional village of Schwanitz. Roman Knizka (“Forever Summer 90”) plays the head of the gang.
